Suomen Gosei 2025

Suomen Gosei on uusi, Tampereella vuosittain järjestettävä titteliturnaus. Turnaus koostuu kahdesta osasta. Ensimmäinen osa on karsintaturnaus, jonka voittaja saa oikeuden haastaa hallitsevan Suomen Gosein. Toisessa osassa karsintaturnauksen voittaja haastaa hallitsevan Suomen Gosein Best of 5-finaalissa. Finaalin voittajasta tulee uusi Suomen Gosei. Ensimmäisenä vuonna ei pelata erikseen finaalia, vaan karsintaturnauksen voittajasta tulee Suomen Gosei suoraan. Tapahtuma on avoin kaikille eikä tittelin voitto edellytä Suomen kansalaisuutta.

Suomen Gosei (Gosei of Finland) is a new annual title tournament held in Tampere. The tournament consists of two parts. The first part is a qualifier tournament, and the winner earns the right to challenge the reigning Suomen Gosei. In the second part, the qualifier winner challenges the reigning Marshal in a Best of 5 final. The winner of the final becomes the new Suomen Gosei. In the first year, there will be no separate final — the winner of the qualifier will become Suomen Gosei directly. The event is open to everyone and winning the title does not require Finnish citizenship.

Venue: Nokia Areena, Paidia -tila, Kansikatu 3, 33100 Tampere Google Maps
Tournament system: Saturday with MacMahon. Sunday top 8 plays 3 round single elimination - others continue with MacMahon
Rules: Japanese, komi 6,5 for white
Game times: 45min + 15s fischer
The tournament is open to all go players!
