| YliGp Cup is the Championship tournament of Helsinki university go club. The tournament is open for all players who have paid YliGo's membership fee for 2016. |

| !Format |
|
| The tournament will be played as a cup where players are eliminated from the first loss. For each round the players are given a 10-14 day period of time, during which the tournament game must be played. The players agree on the time and place of their game. The most natural place to play the cup game is at a club evening, because game clocks can be found there. If the players have not finished their game during the given time limit, the tournament referee will decide case by case basis the result of the game. |

| Players will be placed in the tournament chart in such a way that, at least in the first game there should not be excessive level differences. |
|
| The tournament's final round will be played, unlike other rounds, as a best of three rounds. |
