HGK peli-illassa opiskelimme Antin Japanissa pelaamia pelejä.

Läpikäynnissä Antin ja Shin-Hwan Yoo pelistä löytyi yllättävä laitto, jolla Antti olisi selvinnyt ensimmäisestä taistelusta. Antti pelaa mustilla.

Tilanne alkaa yllä olevasta asemasta.

Tämä olisi tyypillinen joseki.

Jos valkea ottaa josekissa senten, ja pelaa muualle, nurkkaan syntyy ko.

Musta kuitenkin haluaa parantaa tätä ja pelaa kuvan sekvenssin. Musta 37 voisi kytkeä (A), jolloin valkea B elää ja peli jatkuisi rauhallisesti.

Nyt kuitenkin hurja taistelu lähtee liikkeelle... ja näin syntyykin sitten aiheena oleva tilanne.

Mikä onkaan mustan paras jatko?

Pelissä tulos oli mustalle epämieluisa ko.

Mustan 75 ei ole lainkaan riittävä ko-uhkaus, ja peli on käytännössä hävitty, kun vastassa on vahva pelaaja. Peli jatkuu vielä monta laittoa, mutta ratkaisu on jo tapahtunut.

Ja nyt sitten parannus mustalle (55):

Jos valkoinen pelaa kiltisti (toivot vaan) ja poistaa kon nurkasta, peli näyttää erinomaiselta mustalle.

Toisaalta kon jättäminen nurkkaan on kiusallista, kun ulkopuolella olevat kivet ovat heikkoja.

Joten valkoinen joutuu tyytymään huonoon kohon nurkassa. Tämä lienee paras tulos, mitä valkoinen voi saavuttaa.

Don't try to use HTML, since it just won't work.
