Kaamosleiri 2008 25.-27. tammikuuta#

Kaamosleiri järjestettiin taas. Leirillä kävi opettamassa Matti Siivola, 5 dan.

Kevätkokous ja peli+saunailta lauantaina 15. maaliskuuta#

Oulun Goonpellaajat ry:n kevätkokous pidettiin Toivoniementie 1:n kerhohuoneella lauantaina 15.3. kello 17.30 alkaen. Tuloslaskelma ja tase hyväksyttiin sellaisinaan, toimintakertomus hyväksyttiin muutoksin ja edelliselle hallitukselle annettiin vastuuvapautus. Kokouksen jälkeen pidettiin peli- ja saunailta. Kokouksessa paikalla 6 jäsentä ja peli-illassa 14 henkeä.

Oulun Kevät 2008 29.-30. maaliskuuta#

Oulun Kevään järjestivät Mikko Nevala ja Matti Aula, kiitoksia järjestelyistä.

Oulun Kesä 2008 6.-8. kesäkuuta#

Oulun Kesä järjestettiin tuttuun tapaan Oulun Lyseon lukiolla. Turnauksen voitti Janne Kössö ja korotuksia saivat Janne Määttä 3 daniin ja Shan Yuanqi 3 kyuhun. Turnaukseen osallistui 18 henkeä ja paikalla oli myös turnaukseen osallistumattomia. Turnauksen yhteydessä pidettiin peli- ja saunailta, jossa pelattiin myös Sandbag Tournament 2008.
